The research project "How to do things with what is said?" is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. It starts in October 2006 and is headed by Klaus Petrus.

Three topics are being investigated:

• Minimalism vs. contextualism
• Logical form, indexicality and what is said
• Saying, committing oneself and implicating
